Resilient Networks is a specialist product and services company set up to help organisations operate more efficiently, and continue to operate when there is a disruption to the normal communications infrastructure. Our solutions cover areas such as wireless networks, firewalls, remote access, small business telephony systems and dedicated emergency communications.
Our flagship products allows us to specialise in providing on-site communications to Emergency Management staff during an emergency. These products can best be described as "an ICP (Incident Control Point) in a box".
The Resilient Adaptable Communications System (RACS) range of products are designed around the needs of first and second responders, delivering on- and off-site communications capabilities where these either do not exist at all (e.g. Rural Fire scenarios) or where these capabilities have been damaged (e.g. Civil Defence scenarios).

The RACS systems are also designed to be used by organisations that need portable on-site communications facilities for events such as cultural and sporting gatherings. The RACS systems can provide on-site telephone and fax, telephone extensions across the site, video monitoring across the site, and external phone, fax and internet communications.
In addition, we design and implement wireless network systems for city wide response use. We call this our "Linked City" concept, and it can be used for day to day operations as well as being the backbone communications network in an emergency.
We are based in Christchurch, and our staff worked through the Civil Defence response phase for both major earthquakes. Have a look at some of the things that happened on September 4th and February 22nd.
Of course, no good internet site these days is complete without an on-line store, and ours contains items useful in both emergency situations, and general networking and security. Click here to go to our store.
